ETHOSALIS is a collector-led gallery presenting a focused selection of East Asian ceramics, works of art and material culture.

Information presented on this website is intended to provide collectors with artwork context, attribution, condition information and acquisition guidance. Unless expressly confirmed in writing, website content does not constitute a binding offer, valuation, appraisal, authentication certificate or professional investment advice.

  1. ARTWORK INFORMATION

Descriptions, dates, dimensions, attributions, provenance, condition observations and other catalogue information are prepared in good faith using the information and documentation available at the time of publication.

Because many works are handmade, kiln-fired, vintage or unique, variations in form, colour, glaze, surface, texture and dimensions may occur. Disclosed characteristics such as glaze crackle, kiln effects, ash deposits, stone bursts, firing marks, irregularities and other natural or handmade features are not automatically considered defects.

Collectors should review the complete artwork description, photographs, condition information and any additional documentation supplied before making an acquisition decision.
